This server enables public search for biological data at registered National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) Clearinghouse Nodes. The NBII, a USGS-led initiative, is dedicated to the development of an electronic "federation" of biological data and information sources. The goal of the NBII is to provide swift user access to biological databases, information products, directories, and guides maintained by Federal, State, and local government agencies, non-government institutions, and private sector organizations in the United States and around the world.

Search National Spatial Data Infrastructure
This server enables public search for digital spatial data at registered National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Clearinghouse Nodes. You can search four different ways: by region, by date, by specific field or by server. The NSDI is defined as the technologies, policies, and people necessary to promote sharing of geospatial data throughout all levels of government, the private and non-profit sectors, and the academic community.
Government Information Locator Service Search Government Information Locator Service
The Government Information Locator Service (GILS) is essentially a card catalog. It identifies public information resources throughout the U.S. Federal Government, describes the information available in those resources, and provides assistance in obtaining the information. GILS provides automated linkages that facilitate electronic delivery of online information products and services.
